I know a lot of boring ass basic people. I don’t hang with them. But I know of their existence.

Excellent points. Probably an interesting person buried deep in there.

From my teeny tiny experience in life, I’ve come to realize that behind every boring, basic person is either (1) a mask hiding the non-boring parts really well, or (2) a self-confidence blocker stopping them from expressing who they really are. I’ve seen more boring, basic people change the world than rockstars—it’s just that we usually measure in the wrong timeframe (and the tides always end up flipping.)
