There is a huge problem with spam on the network. There are too many incentives for them, but many new people get marked as spammer and don’t know why. Maybe we can collectively come up with some working theories on how real people trigger this algo so they can avoid it. Every time I check this frame by @mvr, I see the number grow.

Glad you are consistently highlighting this pichi. Ive had a lot of Japanese people in my channel and a lot of them are marked as spam and I can see no good reason other than they cast in a different language. It needs looking at ASAP if we are gonna grow this protocol.

check this account, she signed up Farcaster for the first time, after a few reply she got spammed, she created another account, got spammed in less than 2 hours and left Farcaster. new user get spam label so fast

My first guess would be something to do with # of Recasts or Replies per hour as a way of Ⓜ️ farming so to speak. I know mvr got on there by testing what would happen when he tagged a bunch of people, but I am guessing that does not account for everyone on there.

Its a daily thing for me. If someone is not following me i am likely a spam for them. Sometimes i wonder should i be even interacting with people those who don't follow me. Coz anyways they won't see it.

let's be honest, there are not so many ACTIVE users on warpcast that even introducing this function with a spammer mark, removing it and that's it, the problem is solved, active users will return to us again, our accounts will be popular again, damn it's complete nonsense, give people are marked as a spammer for their activity, this is just ridiculous, it would be better if measures were taken to combat AI multi-awareness
