My parents have been going to Hawaii for years, and their favorite island is Maui, with regular trips to Kauai as well. Occasionally, they'll end up on Oahu for a few days, but it isn't a destination for them.
However, they'd never been to the Big Island, so around my dad's 70th birthday, they spent 10 days on Maui and Annie and I convinced them to spend a weekend on the Big Island to get a feel for what it had to offer. We love our trips there, and my parents had a blast.
While showing them around, we got the most spectacular day at Waipiʻo Valley, which I minted into my Postcards from Hawaii collection, and it was scooped up by @mojomoby... another of my 2021 mints! 18 replies
