Happy Aloha Flower Friday... I went back for a different angle on the Ti flowers during my December trip to Kauai, using the 200-500mm lens to get a step back, which changes both the depth of field and the angle allowed me to capture different color, without my shadow falling into the frame. On the left, my 20mm shot; on the right, the 200-500mm shot.

The big thing for me was the shift in the color… this was the color I was seeing but the way the light was coming in, trying to avoid casting a shadow over the flowers, I couldn’t get the right angle.
