I guess -suicide- specifically is a trigger word for their automated filters.

The logistics of banning an account for expressing (what Twitter identifies as) suicidal thoughts sure are interesting.

It's a basic tenet in psychology venting about suicide tends to defuse any need to act, whereas isolation is what triggers self-harm...

I guess a potential argument would be that suicide is also viral, so "letting people talk about suicide encourages others to suicide".
