My wife and doula kept saying that newborn poop was odourless when my youngest was born. I was like, “Uhm, smells like baby poop to me, but ok.” Am I wrong?

imho: there’s a distinction, post-meconium but pre-solids, in breast fed vs formula fed. Anecdotally: boob induced poop does not smell as bad as formula induced poop. what’s the input, @links ?

The input was breast milk, and I wasn't saying it was as bad as solid/formula poop...just that it wasn't odourless!
