i actually support this encouraging more innovation on the edges is helpful for places like buffalo and st. louis where there are ambitious young people without the means to move

I believe that a small amount of money applied at the right point can impact individuals lives At the margin, $50-$75 million creates jobs that otherwise wouldn’t exist In SV it’s just another funding round

Applied at the right point doing a lot of work there :) I’m extremely skeptical this money will be well-allocated vs. political favors. Difference between government and market-based here is VC allocating poorly goes out of biz vs. government does not. No feedback loop.
