Full page reload in most cases, It’s safer and cleaner, specially when there is global states/objs. Only use hot reloads for very small changes/edits.

Hot reload is objectively better, given how fast-paced changes need to be made, it’s best they are viewed in real-time

They both have their advantages and disadvantages The logic is simplified for a full page reload compared to a hot reload

full page reload is my default, just to be safe. But since I'm doing shaders, loading is super fast anyway. That said, if hot reload is easy to code, I'm down to try it out as long as it's easy to ditch later if needed.
