I started experimenting with electrostim therapy after I separated my AC joint snowboarding. I’ve found it to be extraordinarily effective at dealing with chronic joint pain and have incorporated it into my regular routine. If you have muscle pain or stiffness it’s worth checking out.

Have you tried dry needling? That’s proven more effective than electrostimulation with muscle pain and stiffness

I don’t know where and if there are dry needling therapists in LA. But here in NL you can go to a certified physical therapist, me for example ;) In very short and simple: it’s the placement of a thin acupuncture needle in the most sore spot of the muscle and with little movements of the needle we relax the muscle.
