It may feel out off place because right now the focus is very much on the books themselves, but even recommendations can become more meaningful when you know who is behind the recommendation.

Judging from your reading list, I think you would enjoy it. Mind-bending blend of sci-fi and fantasy, with lots of political intrigue.
