really? I think it was essential. Beyond making fully understanding the ecosystem a bit more complicated, whats the risk you see?

I understand the reasoning behind. The reasoning is very crypto native though. I find myself joining “join FC”, and then I get asked “then why’d you send me a WC link”. Then I explain the whole client diversity thing and then I lose them. Less to explain is just easier for everyone :)

Do you think that could be rectified by changing how we onboard others? Simply asking them to "join WC"?

People use WC and FC interchangeably. The active /warpcast and /farcaster channels will be confusing.

I agree. Can’t really consolidate them either I imagine, as they do discuss protocol level things on /farcaster that wouldn’t have much place on /warpcast
