Help! What are your best tips to reduce LDL Cholesterol? I’ve been consuming more meat in the last year, due to going to the gym and seeking higher protein intake. Mostly chicken though, red meat once a week.

Sugar companies literally paid off scientists in the 60s to demonize fat instead of sugar. Butter is healthy. Red meat is healthy. Both reduce LDLs. Biggest change for me in LDL was removing 100% of seed oils and 100% of processed carbs. I eat noodles and bread (non enriched wheat) like once a week now max. It was hard but changed everything. More butter!

I don't eat seed oils and processed carbs. Most of card I eat is rice. Rarely bread or noodles. Only difference in diet in the last year is increase in meat consumption (and cheese) unfortunately, so it's the first thing i'm going to cut and get results in 3 months. Low fat diet is obviously bad of course

Rice unfortunately immediately turns to glucose. So it’s not a refined carb but it’s a super fast carb. That shouldn’t really affect your LDL though and if that’s where you’re getting most of your sugar that’s great.

My glucose has been pretty good overall, so not too worried about rice intake indeed. Could be better of course
