Follow up: what would a token-gated experience solve for you on Farcaster *today*?

Example of a channel that would immediately benefit from this today? What type of content is getting created there that doesn't exist on Farcaster today? Why not maximize reach? Why not use another tool for exclusive content?

read could still be free and open, write could require a token. every single channel w/ a dedicated host would benefit from this today. the one thing we all want is qdau. the lack of economic levers hamstrings our ability to obtain it

This sorta matches this idea I just posted about of app sponsored accounts.

Where perhaps apps can onboard users to a specific channel. They could then check whatever conditions they want to do that (NFT, existing in database, having a valid national ID, whatever)

I'm really not a fan of enshrinjng NFTs as special because a) NFTs are just a lookup table in a database b) I wanna allow verifiable credentials (zk and signature powered) instead of requiring a global ledger for everything.
