What needs to improve to make Safari your default browser? Don’t say everything.

Safari is way slower than brave on my mac. It needs to be super performant and snappy.

Yeah I did the same when they did the unified address bar, for whatever reason though it’s just way slower for me. Plus dev tools aren’t as good

I don’t use brave but safari feels way faster than chrome to me. That’s why I originally switched years ago

Yeah, that's where I'm at too.

For me, I'll test in Safari, but mostly to ensure I'm not using something that's not widely supported - but you can feel the subtle lag.

That's why I was surprised to learn that bun.js was using the Safari JS engine as part of it's smorgasbord of tricks that make it go fast.
