@pfista do you think I can surf waves this size? I get em on Lake Ontario and Lake Huron but never see anyone surfing so I wondered if itโs even possible.

A log? Like a piece of a tree?

Log is a term for a longboard that has lots of volume and is good at catching smaller waves. If you've never surfed before though you might want to get lessons from someone in case the water is sketchy. I'm not sure what rips / conditions can be like on the lakes

Iโm super comfortable swimming in the lakes despite all the waves and rips. The first/last time I surfed I had to ask you for help to get back to shore tho ๐ Thanks for the tip! TBH I was considering getting a small board so I could bring it to the beach on my bike.

Hah oh yes, how could I forget! You could also get a fun board which won't be as long but still has enough volume and works in smaller/weaker waves
