The waves of Pinery Provincial Park - on Lake Huron, which may as well be an ocean it’s so massive.

Unlike oceans, though, it’s freshwater!  Which is pretty sweet!

@pfista do you think I can surf waves this size?  I get em on Lake Ontario and Lake Huron but never see anyone surfing so I wondered if it’s even possible.

Also here’s a dude that rips some Great Lake waves. I’d scour Facebook for a local group that heads out, I’m sure you can find a few fellow sickos and paddle out with them. 

Safer and funner to go with a group and it’s how I started here in Philly!

You for sure can. I used to surf lake michigan quite a bit before I moved to California. I know guys have surfed on every great lake.
