Passkeys are per device, but Apple syncs the passkey to icloud so you can use it from any device you’re logged in to iCloud. 

Not sure if Google does that, so maybe that’s why it’s asking you to add the device you logged in on as a passkey?

i've one used a passkey with google and they keep insisting i make a new passkey on the device i'm logging into right after it lets me in

if there was a browser that managed configs of combined passkeys, that would be a gamechanger.

ultimately, w/ "stealth" onboarding, L2 gwei needs to drop such that paymasters are justifiable for subsidizing very small acts of good faith. otherwise signature-based flow is the trump card.
