- a classic case, where everyone has tokens but almost nobody is committed, so you end up with a huge "community" on paper & burned out team in reality

i for sure think there should either be decay or some cost to being a member, so that theres a downside to being completely inactive

i generally hate the idea of incentivizing governance, my original tweet was mostly aiming at the lack of accountability

the percentage of passive holders & armchair governors, vs people actually doing shit

when running a DAO, my 1) problem has been people saying theyre gonna do something, and then not doing it

in big DAOs, such things happen less often in core teams, but they happen at the grants level

Decay is a very interesting mechanism for governance.

Do you think the economic side and the responsibility side being separated? Either 2 tokens or a token for economic incentive and something else more programmable for responsibility/governance?
