We're planning to move forward with rebranding the Warpcast mobile and web app to Farcaster.

1. Nothing is changing any time soon. We will take our time with this and have plenty of communication about it across multiple channels. The earliest the change will happen is mid-May, but a decent chance it happens in June.

2. We're going to work on a plan over the next 2 weeks and should have a plan by the next developer call on May 8, 2025. We will discuss on the call.

3. For developers: we're planning to open source the client monorepo— i.e. the mobile and web apps. Again, no timeline on this yet.

On a long enough time horizon they both survive.

In the shorter timeframe probably B just by the sheer amount of tokens that are created vs NFTs. More tokens lead to more potential runners, leads to more attention on the category. Liquidity also a factor here.

ERC-20s are a better speculation medium than ERC-721s imo

Especially for retail users that are affected by price unit bias and can’t buy an entire ERC-721. Splitting ownership of ERC-721s has been tried, but gets messy

This is coming from a perspective of someone that ultimately believes BTC has the same memecoin characteristics of something like DOGE
