My dream heading into college was to be a diplomat and work for the US Department of State.

Then I read up on the career trajectory and realized I would be stationed overseas for years without being able to see friends+family often.

Glad I chose tech, but part of me ponders how different my life would be today.

I followed through on that dream and ten years in I’m pivoting to tech. It was a fun run but being away from friends and family was too much after awhile
