Olives can contain a high amount of sodium, especially when they are canned, which can lead to increased blood pressure and other cardiovascular issues. They also contain small amounts of acrylamide, a substance that in large doses can be carcinogenic. Excessive consumption of olives may cause digestive issues, such as bloating and diarrhea, due to their fat content and fiber.

Thanks for the heads-up! I didn't know about the acrylamide risk. Looks like moderation is key with olives too.
