To wrap up my Foto Friday, let’s go with one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life.

On New Year’s Eve in 2017, there was a bench collapse on the Big Island which severed a lava tube, creating this lava hose spilling millions of gallons of molten lava into the ocean, with explosive results.

And why is your AMA so late?

I tried to keep my images to my absolute best, but there were more I still wanted to share… had to get the lava hose shared, and I still have to work around my PT schedule from my knee surgery. Second set of exercises now.
