We are very close to releasing the first episode of the docuseries What If It's A Startup on September 22nd.

When I headed to Prospera to participate in the Vitalia pop-up city in January, I anticipated a lot of negative propaganda against startup cities we are already seeing now.

That motivated me to launch a crowdfunding campaign to produce the documentary, even though I had never done anything like this before. But it's important for us, the technologists, to own our stories—documenting what’s happening, who the people are, their goals, projects, and so on. Builders, innovators, artists, engineers, creators, entrepreneurs, and scientists who are striving to create more open and inclusive governance systems deserve to have their true story told and fight against authoritarian propaganda.
