Wrote a thing to sort out my thoughts on the subculture direction.

Nouns is currently underperforming on many fronts and hopefully this can provide some discussion material and inject new energy. Appreciate any encouragement or pushback alike.

We're seeing an issue where many upcoming props asking for USDC will fail to execute.

Due to an existing USDC debt at creation time, the ETH to USDC conversion tx that Camp automatically adds was quite high. Unfortunately, the DAO's current low liquidity (~258 ETH) will block those props, even if they pass.

For the time being, we disabled camp's auto-housekeeping transaction for topping up the payer.

New USDC props will register a new debt and get paid once the liquidity issue is solved.

not a solidity dev, but would adding the `msg.sender` as a param to the VoteCast event solve this?

I saw that's how the nouns do it for dao votes: https://github.com/nounsDAO/nouns-monorepo/blob/master/packages/nouns-contracts/contracts/governance/NounsDAOVotes.sol#L132

i believe you get 1000 votes per noun, and you voted on behalf of 544 and 567. @rocketman does that seem right?

We added some basic flows.wtf activity to the feed. For now, only shows top-level allocation of votes by nouners/delegates. Later we can add more info if ppl like it!

Reminder: as with other feed items, you can filter these out if too spammy 🙈

yeah I thought about this a couple of times, mostly during testing, but I think it could be useful when a prop fails and you want to iterate on its feedback to put up a slightly modified version.

ah you're right, drafts are auto-saved, but not edits. sorry for the sucky experience, I'll add it to our list to improve that!

that's strange, all edits should be instantly autosaved in the browser local storage, regardless of network quality. which browser were you using, and was it in 'incognito' mode?
