ENS names are going through an interesting phase. Original vision was one name everywhere, but L1 got too expensive so people have offchain ENS (farcaster) and L2 ENS (base names, world names). The natural progression seems to be towards multiple ENS namespaces - is this a net good thing?

An interesting Farcaster idea: what if apps paid for storage, not users? - Apps buy a chunk of bytes. - Free to allocate to casts, reactions, follows in any way. - Free to assign to users in any way (fixed rate, free) - Lower cost by avoiding "unused storage" h/t to @vrypan.eth @deodad and @sds

Some thoughts on spam on Farcaster and how we tackle it. First question - What is spam? The naive answer is "automated activity" but this isn't right. Over 75% of spam we find comes from real humans who have phones, wallets and x accounts. The best definition is "inauthentic activity". It's that feeling you get when you realize that someone who is following, liking or replying to is doing it to benefit themselves and not because they're interested in you.
