Yeah, I wonder if Apple is not correctly de-authorising and fully de-registering the device that was signed into an Apple ID

When it’s one case only I wonder if the “as per Apple instructions” were really followed correctly. In a single case the human factor weights a lot

Yeah, hopefully it’s a case of not correctly following instructions. Though, Apple has a history of shipping baffling bad bugs so we’ll have to wait and see https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2017/11/macos-bug-lets-you-log-in-as-admin-with-no-password-required/
