What version are you on? My best guess is this is related to a big we found and fixed previously but maybe you are still on the older pre-fix version. Let me know your version if/when you can, and I’ll try to confirm.

Thanks, we really appreciate the feedback. This isn't expected behavior - each tab can have its own network connection, and each tab can only switch network if you have previously granted that tab/app the permission to auto-switch to a given network. So I'm not sure how a spreadsheet or random tab could lead to this behavior, and I/we are not yet able to reproduce (but we'll keep working on it). Are you by chance using Firefox? Any other details you can think of that might help us reproduce?

Of course, thank you for responding - it's very helpful! The downgrade in performance is primarily/only on Firefox? That timeline roughly matches up with when we started experiencing issues with Firefox approval process.

Hey - sorry to hear you've had problems. Can you share any more details about the issue(s) you've encountered, ideally step-by-step? In general, "automatic network switching" has been one of the most requested and well-received of our updates, but we are also in the process of further abstracting away multi-network complexities so any feedback about situations you're encountering where it doesn't work how you'd like would be really helpful. Thanks!

Yea sorry about this, this is an issue on and with Firefox, but we are working hard to solve it on the MM side. If you get in a pinch, you can always install MM on Chrome or Brave and you'll get the newest version. You can even make sure your account list/names sync across browsers by turning on "Profile sync" in Privacy & Settings.

Here's a fun thing to try with the MMDF: - Require a $50 allowance/stake on behalf of a user. - If they are marked as abusive, slash the stake. - MMDF allows a user to share their stake, so good users can invite more (backed by the same stake), but would be kicked by any of them behaving badly. gator.metamask.io
