The most dangerous software of this entire cycle has been @metamask. The "automatic network switcher" which will flip you to a different network at random between an approval & send. Updates which degraded performance to the point where having lots of wallets can just crash out the extension. Horrifying downgrades.

I have MM on desktop Firefox. That thing simply refuses to work last few months. Absolutely horrible

Yea sorry about this, this is an issue on and with Firefox, but we are working hard to solve it on the MM side. If you get in a pinch, you can always install MM on Chrome or Brave and you'll get the newest version. You can even make sure your account list/names sync across browsers by turning on "Profile sync" in Privacy & Settings.

Thank you for the reply. I use MM on 3 different browser for different wallets (security, don't ask). I rarely sync anything crypto related. The downgrade in performance is extremely noticeable the last 2 months. Before that, it was easy peasy. Thanks again

Of course, thank you for responding - it's very helpful! The downgrade in performance is primarily/only on Firefox? That timeline roughly matches up with when we started experiencing issues with Firefox approval process.

Yes, primarily on Firefox. The problem is sometimes fixed by restarting everything once or twice but not always. Long wait time during "log in", missed txes, and being unable or long wait time on Uniswap are the most common things that happen to me. Chrome already shows updated icon, edge worked fine as well
