Retention curves rule all. 👀 Including your social *media* posts. While text-based platforms (like twitter) find it hard to personalize based on time spent on a post, it's generally the best signal for video, audio, and photos. Our social squad at Gym Class VR took a hypothesis-driven approach to optimizing their video post retention curves and it worked - steadily growing views until their first 1M view post last week! What metrics are ya looking at for this one? Reply modules tend to be highly impactful for personalized in network content, but also out of network (both likes and new follows).

My hunch: DAU focus is premature. The flywheel gets wild if Farcaster interest graph flourishes (metric: # daily reacts). For Warpcast, I'd likely focus on depth of social (metric: # daily mutual engagements, like reacts, DMs, or casts).
