Bitrot II

I've got so many typewriter drawings not documented, maybe up to a hundred. This one was created last year. Returning to it today, I can see the textile patterns and textures breaking through yet again.

This one is just good old hand-typing, and entirely improvised. Some of the other typed pieces use strict rule-sets, and a small subset of those use patterns borrowed from my gen art pieces that also use letters and signs.

Actually you got it! I call it 'automatic typing' as opposed to 'automatic writing' which as you point out, the Surrealists played around with first.
