Design

While Charles and Ray Eames are famed for their design work, and for me also their very memorable Powers of Ten film - which blew my mind when I was a child, I also really love their construction toys.

House of Cards was first produced in 1952. Each card came with six notches to allow for some serious construction work.

Btw Powers of Ten also blew my mind when I first saw, and I guess that it still blows my mind today ! ! ! 
It always left me thinking on how when you zoom out to the cosmos, in some way, it is kind of similar to when you zoom in to the atom level.

Yes! and between those extraordinary ends of the scale spectrum -between the infinitely large and nanoscopically small - sits a couple on the grass. It was my first contact with something metaphysical and the idea of a highly interconnected universe :)

I woke up a 4am today. I have insomnia thinking about nothing, a subset of the universe, nonetheless :)

Now I will have insomnia thinking about the universe 😅
