It has some amazing things.
I remember the drawing soud  stuff (similar to Norman McLaren & Oskar Fishinger)

Yeah, this is where 'optical sound' began. Obviously people like Oskar Fischinger and Norman McLaren used this as a basis for their own experiments with drawn sound.

:) It's a great read. A lot of audio/sound technology created in the 1920's (in terms of sophistication and plain weirdness) has not be revisited since that time.
