Japanese guy reached out on LinkedIn to ask for a dev job. Asked him to hop on a call.

Accent not "Japanese" and cam turned off. Asked him to turn cam on for minimum opsec.

Was indeed Asian so spoke to him in Japanese but he couldn't understand a word (my JP is decent).

crypto is an easy target because you know they're gonna have some form of value on them, it's just a question of is the amount worth your time

but i think this applies to normies as well, just takes a bit more effort to determine how to penetrate
