i'm sure it's been talked about many times over already in /warpcast, but if you'd humor me, is there a reason why a channel `member` doesn't necessarily have to be a channel `follower`? i get why there can be a distinction between `member` and `follower`, but shouldn't a `member` have to be a `follower`?

I don’t think you can get a member invite if you are not a follower (at least it was blocked at launch)
But nothing prevents you from unfollowing once you are a member.

I'd say the channel update was rushed, maybe ? 😢
It's still a Warpcast only concept that other clients / app are trying to keep up with, using the APIs provided.
The code behind is closed source as well as the data gathered.
And I think both builders and users are starting to loose patience.
