Imo Balaji’s book is unironically a great primer, and it references some of the good books that will help one understand this concept. Of course, that means you’d get a more Balaji-esque idea of what the network state means, but from there you can allow your disposition and interests to take that in the direction you please. Also, providing the obligatory reference to The Sovereign Individual. It is a very libertarian book but they have predicted a lot of what we see today.
