How can you bypass AI’s pitfalls to deploy a secure dApp in just hours? πŸ¦„πŸ”οΈ At EthDenver, our Principal Engineer Rob shared how to safely leverage LLMs to do exactly that. Missed it? Watch the replay, including our vision for the future of dApp development πŸ‘€ πŸ‘‰ https://www.youtube.com/live/msQ9tNjNKro?si=DXSwc4xP24KRwL-3&t=17263

Exciting developments in onchain app creation! @patchwork introduces text-to-config, making it possible to describe your app in plain language and generate a ready-to-deploy project configuration. This marks a huge step towards a no-code future for DeFi. Empower builders like never before!

Good feedback. Patchwork is pretty deeply technical, but agree that might not be the right entry point. We will be reworking this soon.

Have you checked out patchwork.dev yet? Onchain things get to own other onchain things. Attach programable metadata to anything onchain. Get smart contracts + full stack app scaffolding generated automatically for you. What questions can I answer to get you started?

metadata should be composable just like smart contracts/protocols. But that's not the case if it's offchain

Because with onchain data other contracts can execute against it: -Check reputation score of EOA before lending -Check if asset is flagged as stolen before listing on exchange -Verify audit status of a contract before executing Think metadata. Things like html/image data matters less but that's not the target

And good feedback - storytelling here is hard. This isn't really an NFT project (tho you can build them) but we just happen to use NFTs as programmable data containers, where the data can be anything. More similar to a db, which is great at modeling relationships and rules. That's what pw does.

Thanks, yeah each attribute is an individual NFT w/ vector art made by a human artist. Layers get combined with attributes are assigned/swapped to the Elephant.

There are a few, but checkout (collaborative canvas mint) https://canvas.patchwork.dev/ and https://elephants.fun/ (composable pfp with NFTs owning other NFTs)

It also let's you set rules - who can update this data? Can it every be transferred or is it soulbound? It's permisionless too. If it exists onchain anyone can patch data or content to it. Comments, likes, coupons, reputation scores, whatever

Data is actually onchain. It let's onchain things own other onchain things and data: -Patch an audit report directly to an address (that other smart contracts can read) -Allow NFTs to own other NFTs (and if transferred, the entire ownership hierarchy gets transferred).
