a 14-16 hour fasting period in general is great for health and longevity. helps the body reset, get better via hormesis and autophagy. david sinclair has said a lot about this in his work!

The main issue I see with Fasting for longer hours is that you are likely to be underfueled for your weight training. You can’t suddenly go to a 16 hour fast, better to start with skipping the breakfast first! decent for most people.
