different POV: my family, friends, and former colleagues all think *better* of crypto because i work in it and have strong conviction about the technology yes, they're still a little icked but less so because of me i bet @nick could say the same believe in the power of good, kind, interesting (crypto) people

agree re personal approach - onboarded a lot of people. it very much depends on personal background. young people all interested in tech and opportunities to earn money/new job. some 'adults' who are used to investing are also curious about crypto but often don't have someone to ask about it. but old money rejects crypto completely, calling it 'grey money, grey market.'
