My friend just quit working in crypto today after 7 years. They said, more or less, this place was full of dreams and hope in 2017, and none of it materialized in the years sense. Sad day to lose a passionate builder and creative.

Back then we thought blockchain would’ve been mainstream by now and there’d be several killer dApps and use cases. Today, arguably, only stablecoins are cryptos killer use case. 2017 was definitely a time full of idealism and optimism.
