no you can't "just do things". you're an idiot or a current thing chaser if you're saying that looking at blake scholl and boom. it's not a 10year journey. it's a 15 year (5 pre-boom) journey. the dude carved his path methodically over years. he spent months in a physics class at stanford and debating cost models with professors. then we collaborated with some of the best gray haired from boeing. i'm a huge fan of his approach vs raising/chasing current things

That’s what “you can just do things” means. Not that it’s instant or easy, but that with agency and dedication you can do things way outside the default envelope.

Sure but while everyone said he can’t do it he said “yes I can” The point isn’t you can just up and do anything quickly, it’s that you can decide what you want to do and make it happen, you don’t need to wait for someone to tell you it’s ok, if you have the dedication and patience you can just do things
