More generally, we probably want to give "free access" to great public goods contributors.

since we want ppl to actually vote and be engaged with nouns, I think it might be better to imagine specific people. 

for example, would trent or tim who engaged with us in the past be willing to accept a noun if gifted?

why not access the collective? More voices behind each noun is ultimately preferable, no?

i talked with trent a bit during a previous donation, i can reach out to see if he can gauge interest from the group/reps, agree a bit with 40 though that asking the entire guild to vote as opposed to individuals would be bit of overhead in governance/coordination which some may not be interested in

Assuming they reach quorum on nouns votes then you get at least the same lvl of net engagement from the group as from individuals & if they want to silo or delegate to indiv members they prob could figure it out?
To me the core of @el4d idea was that the nouns go to an org expressly constrained to serve the public good
