What if created /commitment for attending events? Attending and organising events I’ve seen this behaviour in web3 which is to request to attend everything. This inflates numbers creating challenges for organisers and makes us non-committal. I think this happens because events are either often free or super expensive what if there was a middle ground? A commitment deposit on-chain that gets released when you scan your ticket at the event? Similar to tactics used with gym classes and restaurants. IMO its the fear of missing out, better sign up... just in case you feel like going You can pay and still not attend I.E ,concert, flight, restaurant, etc  but the %is much lower. 
What would be interesting is to find out how many sign up and how many dont show up? and then maybe rank them in social score commitment. something like that.

I think the rating system isnt very good, and its not authentic. after each ride, the driver always reminds you to rate him espcially in developing countries! it was a fun tool but as for everything you find a way to exploit it. 

Ranking isnt a good metric as it create a false sense. its better to give them point if you miss an event then point are taken out.

We push cozy corners but have mad FOMO to be everywhere, it’s a funny paradox. Rank them in a social score to support approval decision making from organisers? E.g. Why Uber has rating system for passengers to support judgement for their drivers to approve ride request or not
