Capitalism is less and less concerned about allowing the human peasant class to survive. I propose we ditch capitalism before it ditches us. We need a human system.

There’s still far too much opportunity in the system that can be wrung out of it. I’m convinced this is what’s behind much of the anti-education movement in this country. A lot of folks don’t like the fact that children of immigrants have been going to college and finding a better life. They want a labor class that stays labor from generation to generation.

Seeing the forest for the trees- this system isn't sustainable. At a certain point in one way, shape and or form, it will collapse or become irrelevant. There is a window perhaps, an unknown amount of time, to create conditions for the emergence of new, mor human/e systems. Somewhat ironically I think our best bet for humanity is with collaboration with Machine Intelligence.
