I wrote again about the differences between Solana and Ethereum in the latest Powerlaw memo. I make the case for why it does not make much sense to compare those networks with one another. It's like eggs and carrots. Yeah, you can eat both, but you can only use one of them to make an omelette. What's your take?

while I think the analogy is true, it's not really useful without further commenting on whether the world is mostly omelette's or carrot cakes. I.e. what is the relative value capture* of trading vs. value settlement. *value capture being key i.e the internet is massive, but the ISPs aren't capturing most of the value

In my mind when there is a big pie of settlement, then trading is a fraction of it. Rounding valuations for NYSE and AWS to 50B and 300B respectively we already are roughly at fair ratios for SOL and ETH. My ball park target ratio would be in the order of 1:10. Winner takes most.
