Discord is a disaster of a product and I don’t understand why crypto projects use this crap

I onboarded to Discord through NFTs, made sense where there was a lot of crossover with gamers/metaverse. 

A few years ago Slack was the go-to for Crypto communities. But I think they killed it with their premium upgrade requirements. 

I really wish there was a crypto native option but decentralised clients have a tiny amount of users and are often fighting for the same userbase rather than working on a shared protocol. Most I’ve used have been in beta for years and still feel like it too.
