started wondering what % of twitter indie hacker influencers' MRR comes from other indie hackers - many of the products I see cater to that scene.

i’d guess high, 20-50% only other founders care about your mmr, so if you use it for marketing, you will be inevitably selling to other founders (which is not necessarily bad)

been thinking about that as well, it's interesting indie hackers are prolly 90% of their audience, but they are bad customers (low spendable income, high churn)

I would say most of the indie hackers on X are catering towards other indie hackers. The percentage would be more than 50% imo
