women/nb dominating the leaderboards on a weekly basis and not a single one chosen by the fc community for a lightning talk at farcon 🥲 and yes there were plenty to choose from - 5/6 of my choices for talks were by women/nb folks

I will say there were a lot more men than women with talk submissions (5 vs 30 if I counted correctly) but yes my votes were an even split. I do wish there was more variety in the talks from the topic perspective—lots of overlap.

yeah I had a wide variety of topics for mine also! culture and tech statistically one should have made it with the distribution lol
