Looked through the replies on this one and it’s probably 90% people I know. Bot/spam activity has improved tremendously over the past 6 months so I’m definitely not seeing this. BUT my guess is his account might be a target. But also — I only saw 2 mean comments. What’s the mean comment/troll ratio compared to Twitter? Pretty sure we’re doing 100x better here.

Completely agreed. Part of the reason I’ve been enjoying wc so much lately is because of how good the spam filters have become But, as you say, perhaps I’m not a target. Seems significantly better than any other platform, perhaps outside of YouTube

I’ve heard this from a few others too but I literally see almost no bot activity here anymore. A lot of farmers but not actually bots. They made it incredibly easy to curate ur feed and if u spend the 30 seconds doing that it’ll change everything

Also, if you go through his casts, they were always really well liked and recasted. I don't see major increase in the last few months, apart from what can be contributed to the fact people know he is here as well (and not just on X). That and obviously the fact that his follower number is most likely growing. That said, there are bots here. But you make a good point about the ratio

I have to wonder if it depends on how long you have been on the app, and how the app is tailored to your interactions. So, like if you’ve been on the app for a long time with hundreds of thousands of followers, versus if you haven’t been on the app for a long time and you have hundreds of thousands of followers.

was thinking if zach isnt on priority mode too fwiw there's no incentive for bots to farm zach as there wont be an airdrop doing that

I also looked through the likes and recasts shown here, and I know a good number of them either I follow them or they follow me. Actually, I think @zachxbt is just popular here and is mistakenly taking legitimate accounts for bots. Many of us have turned on notifications to stay updated on his rare appearances here, and after the success of his NFT, it’s only natural that many active Farcaster users did the same. When a notification pops up, we like and recast to simply spread good content.
