And it’s only getting started 🫡

two things can be true:

1. this is good revenue generation for these pods that wouldn’t have been generated on traditional platforms

2. as a podcaster, “minutes listened” is infinitely more valuable to me compared to “mints,” which imo is the most unreliable onchain metric for quality of multimedia content

Do you think then that discovery is a bigger problem than monetization for most small podcasts?

My gut says yes but I don’t have my own pod

yes -- distribution especially for the onchain media is the biggest challenge which is why we still the need the web3/web2 combo for /gmfarcaster
