This was not (just) a shill. For real, what would the ideal DAO client look like for Farcaster? What are the short-comings of Farcaster as a communications tool for DAOs? Lets discuss!

For me it’s all about in-context actions. Receive notification and in same spot (e.g. in 🖼️ frame) take action. Examples: be made aware of event/proposal/vote/poll and immediately register/comment/vote etc. Discord/Telegram 🤖 were testing ground but not web3 native so didn’t work for important stuff.

I'll kick off this convo: Transparency is my no. 1 expectation from DAOs. Who posts, where, what's their reason and background. Open-source and public good projects have this as a cornerstone.

An app that has primitives like, proposals, grants, votes, committees, and processes that tie these primitives together. A DAO can setup the governance procedures, and newcomers should be able to intuit how they work instantly. Most DAOs use a collection of tools on/off chain to achieve this today and it's a mess.
